Newsroom...
Here's where the final show
is 'assembled.' The
newsroom (only a portion is shown here) is where all of
the producers, reporters, anchors, and writers work together
to decide the logistical order, timing and content of each newscast.
Every desk has a terminal linked to the WinCue
computer system. It is here that
the reporters investigate and gather information about the stories
they report on. The computer system is used to obtain information
from the Associated Press and other wire services. Radio scanners
are used to track police and fire activity. Satellite video feeds
are also recorded here. From here the news stories proceed to
the
video editing rooms
for final 'cut' before
they go to air. |
